💡 What is a pre-order?
A pre-order is an order placed for a product that has not yet been released or manufactured. but already announced by the manufacturer, or simply not yet in stock.
Pre-orders therefore allow you to reserve your products even before they are available . They will then be shipped on the announced shipping date.
⚙️ How does a pre-order work?
When products are offered for pre-order on the Japandco website, They are already on order from our various suppliers.
The indicated delivery dates are theoretical and given for guidance purposes only. They may be subject to delays, but if we receive the products earlier, We ship your pre-order immediately.
In the case of an order including both in-stock and pre-ordered products, Shipping will take place when all products are available .
If you wish to receive your in-stock products quickly, it is advisable to go through two separate commands .
Pre-orders are paid for at the time the order is placed.
📦 Specifics of a pre-order
All pre-orders placed on Japandco are final and cannot be cancelled .
Shipping costs may be adjusted if the final packaging dimensions differ from the initial estimates. In this case :
- ➡️ If the package is larger or heavier than expected, an additional shipping fee may be requested via a secure payment link.
- ➡️ If the package is lighter or less bulky, store credit may be offered.
These adjustments are usually minor, and we will inform you of any changes as soon as possible. upon receipt of the product at our premises.
🔖 How is a pre-order indicated?
Each pre-ordered product is clearly identified by the following:
“This product is a pre-order; it will be shipped as soon as it is received.”
A “PRE ORDER” badge is also displayed on the product visuals for better visibility.
