The story
Bound by debt after being deceived, Zenitsu Agatsuma is taken in and trained by Jigoro Kuwajima, a former Lightning Pillar. Unable to master the six basic forms of the style, he perfects only the first, transforming it into a devastatingly fast attack. After the Final Selection, he meets Tanjiro and accompanies him despite a constant fear of demons and death.
When terror causes him to lose consciousness, his training takes over, revealing a precision his usual demeanor conceals. Through missions, Zenitsu learns to fight while remaining conscious and to protect his companions by choice. The betrayal of Kaigaku, another of Jigoro's students who has become a demon, compels him to create his own seventh form and confront him alone in the Dimensional Fortress.
