About
The story
Daughter of High Summoner Braska, Yuna grew up in Besaid after her father's victory against Sin. Becoming a summoner herself, she embarks on a pilgrimage to Zanarkand to obtain the Final Aeon, accompanied by her guardians Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri, Auron, Rikku, and Tidus. Gentle yet resolute, she initially accepts the sacrifice required to bring a few years of peace to Spira.
Upon discovering that this ritual perpetuates Sin's eternal return, Yuna refuses the Ultimate Sacrifice and confronts Yunalesca. She and her guardians then destroy Yu Yevon, freeing the Aeons and ending the cycle, at the cost of Tidus's disappearance. Two years later, Yuna joins the Albatrosses and travels Spira as a sphere hunter after discovering a recording that appears to show Tidus. This quest helps her freely choose her own future.
