The story
The fourth of the Nakano sisters, Yotsuba is the most athletic and the only one to immediately accept Futaro as her tutor. Always willing to help her classmates and sisters, she constantly puts their needs before her own. This generosity also stems from a deep sense of guilt: her failure at their previous high school had led the other four quintuplets to transfer with her rather than leave her alone.
Yotsuba is actually the girl Futaro met five years earlier in Kyoto. They had both promised to study to become useful to their family, but she keeps her identity a secret because she feels she hasn't kept her word and prefers to focus on her sisters' happiness. Futaro eventually recognizes the constant importance of her presence and chooses her at the end of the school festival. After accepting her own desires, she becomes his partner and then his wife.
