About
The story
After choosing to pass instead of taking the decisive shot during a qualifying match, Yoichi Isagi sees his high school's national dream crumble. Invited to the Blue Lock program along with 299 other strikers, he discovers an environment where only selfishness in front of goal allows one to survive. Within Team Z, his spatial awareness and his ability to sense the "smell of a goal" become the foundation of his game.
Throughout the selection process, Isagi learns to analyze the field, adapt to his opponents, and combine his strengths with those of rivals like Bachira, Nagi, and Rin. His direct shot and his ability to read the game allow him to trigger decisive chain reactions. Starting for the Blue Lock Eleven against the Japanese U-20 team, he scores the winning goal and establishes himself as one of the players capable of changing the future of Japanese football.
