The story
Born Tenko Shimura, grandson of Nana Shimura, Tomura grew up under the authority of a father who forbade any admiration for heroes. When his Quirk, Disintegration, awakens, he accidentally kills his family. All For One takes him in, exploits his distress, and gives him the name Tomura Shigaraki. Becoming the leader of the League of Villains, he attacks U.A. High School and then gradually learns to lead his comrades. His confrontation with Re-Destro unleashes the full extent of his power and places the Liberation Army under his control.
Dr. Garaki then modifies his body to give him the Quirk All For One, but his master's consciousness seeks to take control of him. Despite her hatred, Tomura tries to preserve her own will and the bond that unites her with the League of Villains. Izuku understands that deep within this enemy remains the child no one rescued. During their final battle, the remnants of One For All reach her memories, but All For One regains control. Tomura ultimately helps Izuku destroy their shared manipulator before disappearing.
