The story
After finding his family massacred and his sister Nezuko transformed into a demon, Tanjiro Kamado refuses to abandon her. After witnessing Nezuko's determination to protect her brother, Giyu Tomioka directs them to Sakonji Urokodaki. Tanjiro learns Water Breathing, passes the Final Selection, and joins the Demon Slayer Corps to find a cure while pursuing Muzan Kibutsuji, who was responsible for the tragedy.
His battles alongside Zenitsu and Inosuke lead him to rediscover the Hinokami Kagura passed down by his father, and then to gradually integrate it into his own style. Marked by Rengoku's sacrifice, he progresses in the Pleasure District, the Smithing Village, and during the Pillars' training. He finally participates in the battle against Muzan and, briefly transformed into a demon, regains his humanity thanks to the efforts of his companions.
