The story
Over a thousand years ago, Sukuna reigned over the Heian period and repelled the exorcists who came to kill him. After his death, his power remained in twenty fingers, now indestructible cursed objects. When Yuji Itadori swallows one, Sukuna is inhabited by it, but discovers a vessel capable of maintaining control. He secretly makes a pact with Yuji and becomes interested in Megumi's Ten Shadows Technique.
In Shibuya, Sukuna takes advantage of a forced awakening to confront Jogo and Mahoraga, causing the destruction of part of the city. During the Murderous Hunt, he uses his pact to transfer his soul into Megumi, subdues her Ten Shadows, and confronts Gojo. After regaining his original form, he fights the exorcists gathered against him. Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara finally separate his soul from its host and put an end to his incarnation.
