About
The story
Champion of a tournament held in her village of warrior women in China, Shampoo is defeated by Ranma in his female form. The laws of her tribe then compel her to give the kiss of death to her conqueror and pursue her. Arriving in Japan, she faces Ranma again, this time in his male form: another rule forces her to marry him. When she realizes that the two Ranmas are one and the same, she returns to China.
During another training session in Jusenkyo, Shampoo falls into the Drowned Cat Spring and transforms into a cat upon contact with cold water. She returns to Nerima with her great-grandmother Cologne, runs the Nekohanten restaurant, and pursues Ranma with unwavering determination. An expert in martial arts and armed with her bonbori, she considers Akane her main rival, rebuffs Mousse's advances, and doesn't hesitate to exploit Ranma's fear of cats.
