The story
Seishiro Nagi leads an uneventful life until Reo Mikage notices his natural talent and invites him to play football. In just a few months, his ball control, impossible ball-handling skills, and physical attributes make him the prodigy of Team V. Accustomed to winning effortlessly, he experiences the frustration of defeat for the first time against Team Z, led by Yoichi Isagi.
This defeat awakens his curiosity and his desire to understand football. During the second selection, Nagi chooses to join Isagi in order to progress, at the cost of a painful break with Reo. Faced with increasingly stronger opponents, he transforms his ball control into unpredictable opportunities and develops his own ego. Starting for the Blue Lock Eleven against the Japanese U-20 team, he scores his team's first goal.
