About
The story
A disciple of the witch Flora, Schierke grows up apart from humans in the Spirit Tree Mansion and studies the layers of the astral world with his elf companion, Ivalera. She encounters Guts and his group when she intervenes against trolls, then leads them to her mistress. Sent to defend Enoch's village, she summons the elemental spirits and gradually discovers that humans are not all guided by the ignorance she feared.
After the manor burned down and Flora died, Schierke joined Guts on their journey. Her barriers, astral projections, and communion with spirits became essential against supernatural creatures. She entered the Black Warrior's consciousness to free him from the Dark Beast when the Berserker Armor took control. While teaching Farnese the basics of magic, she accompanied the group to Elfhelm and participated in the journey through the fragments of Casca's mind.
