The story
Rin Itoshi grows up admiring his older brother Sae and dreams of forming the best attacking duo in the world with him. When Sae returns from Spain with the ambition of becoming the best midfielder, their relationship breaks down after a duel that leaves Rin determined to surpass him. At Blue Lock, his complete technique, his precision and his ability to control the intentions of others place him at the top of the rankings.
Rin becomes Yoichi Isagi's main obstacle during the second selection, which he wins by exploiting every player on the field. Designated captain and center forward for Blue Lock Eleven against the Japanese U-20 team, he directly confronts Sae. Under pressure, his calculated play gives way to a destructive ego that seeks to annihilate the opposing team's qualities, revealing a more instinctive side of his talent.
