About
The story
Pochita is the Chainsaw Demon, an entity feared by other demons for its ability to erase from existence those it devours. Severely injured and reduced to a small canine form, he encounters Denji, who offers him her blood to save him. The two make a pact and work together as demon hunters to repay the debt imposed on the boy by the yakuza.
After Denji is murdered by the Zombie Demon, Pochita sacrifices his body and becomes his heart, asking in return to show him his dreams. When Makima destroys these dreams and breaks their contract, he reverts to his original form and confronts the hybrid weapons and the Demon-Domination. His true desire, however, was not to rule, but to be able to embrace someone without killing them. He ultimately entrusts Denji with the task of offering the new Demon-Domination a relationship based on affection.
