The story
Coming from a modest background, Ochaco Uraraka wants to become a hero to provide a more comfortable life for her parents. Her Zero Gravity Quirk negates the weight of anything she touches with her fingers, but excessive use makes her nauseous. She meets Izuku during the U.A. entrance exam and transforms the mocking nickname "Deku" into a hopeful name. Aware of her weaknesses in hand-to-hand combat, she trains under Gunhead and develops a more comprehensive approach to rescue.
The successive crises make her realize that heroes also need to be rescued. Ochaco defends Izuku when a crowd refuses his return to U.A., then tries to understand Himiko Toga without excusing his crimes. During the final battle, she agrees to listen to the girl's feelings and prevents her from continuing her attack, but Toga sacrifices himself to save her. Having become a Pro Hero, Ochaco then participates in a mentoring program for children and their Quirks.
