The story
The sole survivor of the Kamado family massacre along with Tanjiro, Nezuko is transformed into a demon by Muzan Kibutsuji. Despite her hunger and the loss of some of her memories, she refuses to devour her brother and protects him from Giyu Tomioka. Hidden from the sun in a box, she regains her strength through sleep rather than consuming humans and accompanies Tanjiro on his quest for a cure.
Nezuko develops exceptional strength and regeneration, as well as a Demonic Blood Art, Explosive Blood, whose flames reach demons without harming humans. In the Pleasure District, her fight against Daki triggers an advanced demonic form that she struggles to control. In the Smiths' Village, she survives in sunlight before Tamayo's treatment finally allows her to become human again.
