The story
Makima heads the Fourth Special Section of Public Safety and takes in Denji after his merging with Pochita. Beneath a calm and benevolent exterior, she rewards his obedience, controls his relationships, and directs him toward hunting the Gun Demon. She is, in reality, the Domination Demon, capable of enslaving those she deems inferior and using their powers, contracts, or bodies.
An admirer of the true Chainsaw Man, Makima seeks to exploit his ability to erase concepts in order to construct the world she deems ideal. To bring forth Pochita, she methodically destroys Denji's happiness, notably by causing Aki's death and killing Power. Denji finally surprises her with a chainsaw formed from Power's blood, then consumes it to circumvent the contract that diverts his wounds to the Japanese citizens. The Demon-Domination is then reborn in the form of Nayuta, entrusted to Denji by Kishibe.
