About
The story
Born into the formidable Zoldyck family, Killua is trained from childhood to kill, resist poisons, and endure torture. Refusing the destiny chosen for him, he leaves the family estate and participates in the Hunter Exam, where he meets Gon. Their friendship allows him to discover a life based on his own decisions, even though the psychological control exerted by his brother Illumi leads to his disqualification. After Gon, Kurapika and Leorio return to Kukuroo, Killua leaves with them and learns Nen from Wing at Heaven's Tower.
A Transmuter, Killua replicates the properties of electricity thanks to the electrical abuse he endured during his training. He perfects this aura on Greed Island and then develops Godspeed, which accelerates his movements and automates his reactions. During the mission against the Chimera Ants, he removes the needle that Illumi had implanted in his mind and finally overcomes the fear instilled in him by his family. When Gon is condemned, Killua frees his sister Alluka and calls upon Nanika's power to save him, before setting off to travel the world alongside him.
