The story
Kazutora Hanemiya is one of the six founders of the Tokyo Manji Gang. While attempting to steal a motorcycle for Mikey's birthday with Baji, he unwittingly kills Shinichiro Sano, their friend's older brother. Unable to accept his actions, he shifts the blame onto Mikey and develops an obsessive hatred for him during his time in the detention center.
Upon his release, Kazutora joins Valhalla and prepares for Bloody Halloween, where he stabs Baji during the confrontation. Baji's voluntary sacrifice, however, prevents Mikey from blaming him for his murder, and Takemichi stops their cycle of revenge. Kazutora eventually takes responsibility for his crimes and returns to detention. In several future events, he later helps Chifuyu and Takemichi investigate Kisaki, remaining true to Baji's wish to protect the Toman.
