The story
A teenager known for his violent behavior, Jotaro Kujo has himself locked away, convinced he's possessed by an evil spirit. His grandfather Joseph reveals it to him as a Stand: Star Platinum, endowed with extraordinary strength, speed, and precision. When DIO's awakening threatens his mother Holly with death, Jotaro travels across Asia and the Middle East with his companions to reach Egypt and eliminate the source of his affliction.
Facing DIO, Jotaro discovers that Star Platinum can also stop time and ends the Joestar family's centuries-long battle against their enemy. Having become a marine biologist, he later investigates the Stand-creating arrows in Morioh with Josuke and participates in the hunt for Yoshikage Kira. Years later, he tries to free his daughter Jolyne from Green Dolphin Street, but the confrontation with Enrico Pucci forces him to sacrifice his last chance to protect her.
