About
The story
Born without a Quirk in a society that considers them the norm, Izuku Midoriya nevertheless dreams of becoming a hero like All Might. His courage in the face of a criminal holding Katsuki Bakugo captive convinces his idol to pass on One For All to him. After intensive training, Izuku enrolls at U.A. under the name Deku. Unable to immediately control this power, he often breaks his own body before developing Full Cowling and gradually acquiring the Quirks of previous users.
Facing Tomura Shigaraki and All For One, Izuku alone bears the burden of One For All before his classmates return him to U.A. During the final battle, he willingly transmits the remnants of his Quirk to reach what remains of Tenko Shimura and break All For One's control. Victory ultimately costs him his Quirk. Years later, Izuku, now a teacher at U.A., returns to the battlefield thanks to a suit of armor financed by his former comrades.
