The story
A prodigy of the Uchiha clan, Itachi became a member of the Anbu at a very young age and found himself caught between his clan, which was preparing a coup, and the leaders of Konoha. He accepted a secret mission to prevent civil war, massacred the Uchiha, and spared only Sasuke, whom he incited to hate him.
Having become a wanted criminal and a member of the Akatsuki, Itachi actually continued to monitor the threats facing Konoha. Ill, he orchestrated his final battle against Sasuke and died after freeing his brother from Orochimaru's control. Resurrected during the war, he puts an end to Kabuto's Edo Tensei.
