About
The story
Born Keigo Takami into a violent household, Hawks saves accident victims using his Quirk, Fierce Wings. The Public Safety Commission recognizes his talent, takes charge of his education, and trains him from childhood as a hero and agent. Becoming Japan's second-in-command at a very young age, he cultivates a relaxed demeanor while analyzing each threat using the feathers he controls separately. His childhood admiration for Endeavor leads him to support the new number one hero against the Brainless High-End.
The Commission then orders him to infiltrate the Paranormal Liberation Front. Hawks gains Twice's trust but is ultimately forced to kill him when his power threatens to turn the tide of the battle. Dabi burns a large part of his wings and publicly reveals his past, without ending his commitment. Despite the gradual loss of his Quirk during the final confrontation with All For One, Hawks continues to coordinate the heroes. After the war, he takes the helm of the Commission with the goal of reforming the system.
