The story
Hakkai Shiba is the vice-captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang's second division and considers Takashi Mitsuya a true older brother. Behind his strength and intimidating appearance, he remains terrified of Taiju, his older brother, who has been mistreating Hakkai and their sister Yuzuha for years. To protect Yuzuha, he agrees to leave Toman and join the tenth generation of the Black Dragon.
During the Christmas battle, Hakkai confesses that he never protected Yuzuha as he claimed: she was the one who took the blows for him. Encouraged by Takemichi and Mitsuya's words, he stops running away and finally stands up to Taiju. After the Black Dragon's defeat, he rejoins Toman and participates in subsequent battles, including one against Tenjiku. In peaceful futures, he becomes a model.
