The story
Fern lost her parents during the Southlands War before being taken in and raised by Heiter. Heiter entrusted her future to Frieren, who agreed to teach her magic. Thanks to rigorous training and remarkable mastery of her mana from childhood, Fern progressed rapidly until she was able to travel with her mentor. After Heiter's death, she accompanies Frieren north and becomes his apprentice, his fighting partner, and the person who organizes their daily life.
Calm and precise, Fern excels at concealing her mana and casting offensive spells rapidly. Her talent allows her to pass the exam and become a first-class mage. Despite her serious demeanor, she remains a sensitive young woman, sometimes easily offended by Frieren's nonchalance or Stark's clumsiness. As their journey progresses, she builds a new family with them and learns to express the emotions she once kept hidden behind perfect discipline.
