About
The story
The second son of Donovan Desmond, the target of Operation Strix, Damian attends the same class as Anya at Eden Academy. His social standing and family prestige foster a haughty attitude, reinforced by his friends Emile and Ewen. Behind this self-assurance, however, lies a boy deeply affected by his father's distance, whose approval he seeks by aiming for the highly coveted status of Imperial Scholar.
Because Loid hopes to reach Donovan through her, Anya is tasked with befriending him. Their first encounter is cut short when she hits him after his provocations, but the girl's apology awakens feelings in Damian that he stubbornly refuses to acknowledge. Between rivalry, embarrassment, and rare moments of trust, their relationship becomes central to both Loid's plan and Anya's school life.
