The story
Dabi is actually Toya Todoroki, the first son of Endeavor and Rei. He inherited flames more powerful than his father's, but a body adapted to the cold that burns him when he uses them. Initially trained to surpass All Might, he is abandoned when Endeavor realizes the danger of his Quirk. Desperate to prove his worth, Toya starts a fire at Sekoto Peak and is left for dead. Taken in by All For One, he awakens three years later and then disappears under the identity of Dabi.
His blue flames and admiration for Stain's ideology lead him to join the League of Villains. During the war, Dabi publicly reveals his identity and the violence of Endeavor in order to destroy his family's reputation. He confronts Shoto, copies his Phosphor technique, and transforms his own body into a thermal bomb threatening a vast area. The combined intervention of the Todoroki prevents the explosion. Toya survives in critical condition, finally forcing the family to confront the wounds they had never healed.
