The story
Choso is the eldest of the nine Death Painting Wombs, cursed objects created by experiments conducted by Noritoshi Kamo while his body was controlled by Kenjaku. Incarnated in the modern era, he joins Mahito and Kenjaku alongside his brothers Eso and Kechizu. When they are killed by Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki, Choso enters the Shibuya Incident driven by a single desire for revenge.
Using Blood Manipulation, Choso corners Yuji, but a revelation about their shared parent, Kenjaku, leads him to recognize the young exorcist as his little brother. He then switches sides and dedicates his life to protecting him. He fights Kenjaku alongside Yuki Tsukumo, passes on his experience to Yuji, and joins the fight against Sukuna. True to his role as the elder brother, Choso sacrifices himself to shield Yuji from Sukuna's flames.
