The story
A childhood friend of Eren and Mikasa, Armin, inspired by his grandfather's book, dreams of exploring the oceans and the outside world. Despite his lack of confidence, he joins the 104th Training Corps. His tactical intelligence proves crucial from the Battle of Trost onward, regularly allowing his comrades to escape desperate situations.
During the recapture of Shiganshina, Armin sacrifices himself to defeat Bertolt and subsequently receives the serum that grants him the Colossal Titan. Becoming a key figure in the Survey Corps and later its fifteenth commander, he strives to maintain the possibility of dialogue. He joins the alliance against the Rumbling and battles Eren to the bitter end.
