The story
Born without a Quirk, Toshinori Yagi is chosen by Nana Shimura to become the eighth wielder of One For All. Trained by Gran Torino, among others, he develops the power inherited from his predecessors and becomes All Might, Japan's number one hero. His victories and reassuring smile make him the Symbol of Peace, until a confrontation with All For One inflicts serious injuries and drastically reduces the time he can maintain his heroic appearance.
When he meets Izuku Midoriya, All Might recognizes in this Quirkless teenager the courage necessary to become a true hero. After training him, he imparts One For All to him and joins U.A. High School to guide his development. His final battle against All For One in Kamino depletes the last reserves of his power and forces him to retire. Now unable to fight as he once did, Toshinori continues his mission as a teacher and mentor, determined to prepare Izuku and the next generation to take his place.
