Players collaborate to build and stabilize the Shinra Tower by stacking floors on unstable structures, while facing enemies that progressively appear to complicate their progress. The balance becomes increasingly precarious as the tower rises, creating constant tension where every decision matters.

The game includes numerous elements, including 20 floor pieces, 54 walls, 24 Action cards, and 24 wooden pawns representing Cloud and his allies like Tifa and Aerith, as well as their adversaries. Accompanied by rulebooks in multiple languages, it allows for games of 1 to 5 players lasting approximately 15 to 30 minutes, with a clear objective: reach the top without the tower collapsing.
